Organized by the nonprofit network freeDimensional and supported by the Breuninger Stiftung Foundation, the 2009 Emerging Art Spaces Retreat on Wasan Island was a week-long convergence providing an opportunity to connect, relax and delve into the interconnections between art, freedom of expression and human rights.
