Recommendation from the group of EU Member State rep's on arts mobility

For those of us who follow cultural policy in the EU, we will recognise that this is the final report of the OMC group on mobility. For others, I can briefly explain that the Directorate General for Education and Culture (DGEAC) set up a group of rep's from the Member States (countries of the EU) to make recommendations to the EU, to their own national levels and to the culture sector, to improve arts mobility. It's worth reading, and it has very much based its recommendations on what the sector has been advocating for. Good people from the sector have been advising them. It responds to quite a lot of the concerns of the new International Coalition on Arts, Human Rights and Social Justice (Wasan 2010 group)
I will attend the official presentation of the 4 OMC reports (also on mobility of collections, culture and education, cultural and creative industries) on 2nd Sept and see if I can find out what really will now happen to all of the recommendations! MOC MOB_final_report_en.pdf
