Belarus Free Theater need short-term accommodation in NYC

Dear All,
As you may know, freeDimensional is hosting the founders of Belarus Free Theater for our bi-annual Critical Dialogue. fD's Critical Dialogue is when an international activist or culture worker is passing through the US and we create linkages with advocates, policy-makers and the general public through a mini-retreat held in conjunction with our upstate New York partner, Ledig House of the Omi International Arts Center or another partner art space. In an effort to uplift these critical voices, there is a public program held in New York City. On 17-19 September we will host the founders (Natalia and Nikolai) of Belarus Free Theater at Ledig House, and on September 20th they join a Political Salon at the World Policy Institute.

I just spoke with Natalia after they arrived to the US and she said the harassment, threats and impunity in Minsk have been unbearable in the last weeks during the period building-up to Belarus' election. She shares these links - one, two, three ...

Natalia, Nikolai and their theater company are here in NYC to perform at Theatre Without Borders' conference/festival, Acting Together on the World Stage. They are in need of accommodation for
three people from September 20 to 26 and two people from September 21 to 26. If you can help, just drop me a line at todd@freedimensional.org.

Thank you,
Todd
