G-20 Pittsburgh Summit

City of Asylum/Pittsburgh played host to 20 Burmese monks-in-exile for a showing of the movie "Burma VJ" *video journalist) at the Mattress Factory and a panel discussion with the monks. COA/P's exiled writer-in-residence is Khet Mar of Burma. The monks stayed in COA/P housing on Sampsonia Way. The next day the monks conducted a Peace Walk from Sampsonia Way to the site of the G-20 Summit.
