How I heard about fD and why I'm here
I heard about fD from the NEW TACTICS human rights org, and this quote seems to describe me as well as it described others, "connect with other people doing human rights work."
A simple idea but somewhat difficult through the web just as the web is also empowering---since it can be so daunting as far as keeping up with changes in many human rights org's that I'm interested in while at the same time, keeping in touch with friends, family, etc. Thus I'm hoping to learn ways to manage my online-rights-connections & ideas in ways that promote more fluid, comfortable dialogue as opposed to the usual "typing, clicking & filling-out emails & petitions."

Art(ists') methods of translating various languages /concepts

Hello all, I've got an issue that doesn't speak to the specifics of "reaching" others

a personal request for help

re: artwork that I'm involved in, aimed at {or relating to} issues that involve

much of the activist & social-justice-changes that many folks on fD are involved in:

basically i've been trying to find online translator apps /progs that are

Hi!,

Its free on the Saatchi online artists site to sign up and its pretty easy , just follow the instructions. You upload jpgs to the site and put in your cv text but they have good instyructions through it. Good luck!

hi, art and activism these are very civilised phenomenas especially now a days. but without tasting the holy fruit of humiliation and torture our art is worthless . more than 400million people of our globe are being humiliated as human beings .they are ugly, malnutrited, impoverished, hungry, illiterate and homeless. we cannot paint them as beautiful madonnas, lets humiliate ourselves again and again to save and to liberate humanity. i think humiliation is the first step towards liberation. art and activism without humiliation is just like body without soul, ot mind without heart.
