SAAC is an independent, not-profit making organization aimed at promoting and supporting Somali artists by providing an open, helpful environment that uses the arts to foster creative thinking, self-reliance and free enterprise and to promote and protect Somali language and literature as well as to defend freedom of expression of Somali artists in Somalia.
