Biography
Art research center located in a 1890´s house made of organic material ( adobe ) located in Barrio Yungay, oldest neighborhood in the city of Santiago de Chile and Zona Tipica.

The interests of Spanglish as a platform are based on the bio-political networking, economic and affective relations between social actors and artists related to improving the quality of life and strengthening networks and from Latin America, establishing joint research branches in art, architecture, sustainability, heritage and new technologies.

Context: Barrio Yungay typical zone was declared in 2009 thanks to a neighborhood movement where SPANGLISH was an active actor. With a dynamic mixture of immigrants, architecture and cultural infrastructure, Barrio Yungay emerged as the new cultural center of Santiago de Chile with places like the Museum of Contemporary Art in Quinta Normal, Matucana 100 Cultural Center, Biblioteca de Santiago, Museo de Arte Popular, Artequín Museum , Parque Quinta Normal, among others.
