Born 1942, educated at Röntgen Oberrealschule Würzburg and Technical University (Computer Science) in Berlin, Germany. After working at the Technical University of Berlin, the Federal Health Department and as a freelancer in the field of sociology, in 1992 I switched my scientific career to the arts when I set up "Schloss Bröllin" - an old settlement from the 13th century, which I developed into a cultural centre and artist in residence place with a focus on performing arts. I was the managing director and head of the board of this historical monument situated in East-Germany and I was in charge of strategies, administration, promotion, public relations, finances, etc. Schloss Bröllin is a place of transformation where ideas develop into projects. Since 2004, allthough still member of the board, additionally I work as a freelancer in the fields of supporting artists, organizing exhibitions, project management, finances/applications/fund raising and promoting cultural policy on an European level. Thus I'm strongly concerned with institutional and personal networking.
