Is there already info (project doc) on Scholarglyphs on the group page? when it is all ready i would like to introduce you to a german funder who funds children's projects who might be interested in your work .. we can invite him into the scholarglyphs group to see some images and read the project description when youre ready,

World of Children Awards Program Accepting Nominations
Deadline: April 17, 2009
The World of Children Awards program recognizes individuals who
make a difference in the lives of children across the globe. The
program is designed to honor these leaders and provide them with
funds to support the proven high-impact programs they have cre-
ated in the fields of health, education, hunger, and human
rights. Grants will be given to nonprofits associated with the
honorees.
The 2009 Humanitarian Award will provide a grant of up to $50,000
in recognition of an individual who has made a significant life-
time contribution to children in the areas of social services,
education, or humanitarian services. Nominees must have created,
managed, or otherwise supported a sustainable program that has
significantly contributed to children's opportunities to be safe,
to learn, and to grow. Nominees must do this work over and above
their normal employment, or work for little or no pay, and must
have been doing this (or related work) for a minimum of ten
years.
The 2009 Health Award will provide a grant of up to $50,000 in
recognition of an individual who has made a significant lifetime
contribution to children in the fields of health, medicine, or
the sciences. Nominees must have created, managed, or otherwise
supported a sustainable program that has significantly contrib-
uted to the improved health of children. Nominees must do this
work over and above their normal employment, or work for little
or no pay, and must have been doing this (or related work) for a
minimum of ten years.
The 2009 Founder's Youth Award will provide a grant of up to
$25,000 in recognition of a young person under the age of 21 who
is making extraordinary contributions to the lives of other
children.
Nominees must have full knowledge that they are being nominated.
Nominees in all categories must be associated with an existing
nonprofit organization in good standing that can receive grant
funds if awarded. Nominees must be available to participate in
the awards ceremony to be held in New York City on November 5,
2009. Travel and accommodations will be arranged and paid by
World of Children.
