Ida Daniel is now 33. She’s been participating in Bulgaria’s cultural life since her teens, first as a poet, later as theatre maker and cultural politics activist. She has staged three plays: “Everyman” by anonymous author, “What happened after Nora left her husband or the pillars of society” by Elfride Jelinek, “Dagmar the Dead or the Little Matchgirl” by the young Bulgarian author Svetozar Georgiev a.k.a. ghostdog. Her interest in creating performances by the provocation of meeting other doers has been in the core of: “Ambient Anarchist and the bed of Sea Plants” performed in Liverpool, “Nobody knows what the late night has in store” performed in Sofia City Park and “Soul Violin” performed during the open-doors day of Bulgarian Jewish Community, part of the European Jewish Culture Day.
