I am sorry to hear things are harder in Africa. At the residency symposium in Cairo [which is where I met Todd Lester] there seemed to be some amazing projects going though.

Have you heard about the new projects called participatory video I know one organisation who use to do that with groups in africa, they might help you. Here is kind of stuff they do
