"Another Life": staged reading of new dramatic poem by Karen Malpede (Prophecy)
about how the attacks of September 11 created the climate of fear leading to torture and hatred of Muslims (to be published in The Kenyon Review, Fall 2010).

Audience discussion with Susan Burke, lawyer representing Guantanomo detainees, and Petra Bartosiewicz, journalist covering terrorism trials, will follow.
